I am a wife. I am a mommy to Poppy, Hudson, and Holland. My 3 crazy kids all born within 3.5 years… Plus 3 doggies; Wrigley, Shea & Yankee-Davis
I have been an Event Planner as a career for 10 years now.
I specialize as a Wedding Planner. & yes, I have seen the movie with J.Lo.
Throwing my own parties – for whatever occasion – is still one of my favorite things to do.
I am a sewer without any formal training. I am a DIY-er. A Decorater. I am a cook. An advocate of love. A baker. A laugher. A home-maker. A crafter.
I LOVE Champagne.
I NEED Coffee. I am not ashamed to admit my Starbucks addiction and that my sweet baristas at the shop right down the street know me, know my order, and even know my kids.
Sequins make me smile.
Shoes light-up my life.
Polkadots make me happy.
Clothes bring out my inner-fashionista.
I like to dabble in creativity in all aspects and applications.
Music can always turn my frown upside down.
I don’t have a specific style. I like what I like.
I have a tendency – good or bad – to look at things and say “I can make that!”
I also have a habit of saying “I can do that!” && then I grab a sledgehammer and get to it.
Most attempts are successful, however, nothing goes without fail here and there, which helps me learn from my mistakes, grow, and do better the next time.
I am a firm believer in Imagination, Creativity, and Individuality.
I have an open mind, a big heart, an honest mouth, and strong opinions. None of which I would ever change or apologize for.
I enjoy a good baking session, any time of the day or night.
I keep my dreams & standards high, just like my heels!
There is not one single thing about me that is perfect.
This blog is just another means of a creative outlet for me. It’s not to boast or brag. It is not to make me look perfect. It is not to make others feel bad. This blog is for fun. For me. I like to share things with people, including what I am up to, what I have learned, what I am into these days, and some fun & real things along the way!
I love talking about Mommyhood and what it is like for me. That does not mean it’s what it should be like for you. My opinions and experiences are not a standard, they are an exception. I tell stories so that other mommies can relate, can laugh, or can breathe a sigh of relief.
I am a firm believer that as a mom, as a woman, as a living-breathing-loving person, we should all support each other. We should encourage each other. We should compliment each other.
I really do hope you all enjoy seeing a bit of what my crazy life is up to.
