How It All Started

Erin first reached out to me because she had witnessed my work firsthand. As a talented hairstylist, Erin was working on a bride at another wedding I had planned. Impressed by my team’s work, she knew she wanted me to plan her wedding when she got engaged. It’s always such an honor when other wedding industry vendors reach out to me to help with their big day. They have a long list of people they love, and it’s always extra special to be at the top of that list.

The Perfect Venue

Russ, Erin’s fiancé, owns Water Tower Kitchen, a unique restaurant and bar in downtown Campbell with both indoor and outdoor spaces. The venue’s versatility and charm made it the perfect location for their wedding. The space allowed us to create different atmospheres, from the ceremony to the reception, all within the same venue. I especially love when clients choose venues that are personal to them. This is their family business—they probably spend more time here than anywhere else—so it was wonderful that they chose their restaurant to help celebrate their marriage.

If you haven’t been to this area, you need to check it out. Downtown Campbell is adorable, and Water Tower Kitchen is conveniently located just behind the bustling downtown avenue. Guests were able to enjoy both the ceremony and reception, and for those who felt like extending the night, they could easily pop over to one of the many lounges, wine rooms, or restaurants the area has to offer.

For future brides, if you’re considering an after-party, this venue might be perfect for you! You get the chance to enjoy a beautiful wedding venue, then end the night with a nightcap at another location within walking distance. It’s the ideal spot for brides who love a modern, neighborhood, and city feel

Designing with Jewel Tones

Erin didn’t have a specific design in mind but mentioned her love for deep, rich jewel tones, especially since their wedding was just a day before Halloween. This palette was perfect for the time of year, adding a sense of warmth and elegance. I chose a mix of deep and vibrant tones that created a stunning and cohesive look throughout the event.

Not only were we able to bring in rich colors through drinks, tables and chairs, and candles, but we also incorporated those tones into the floral arrangements. With lots of greenery, reds, pinks, and pops of blue, we were able to create that fall moodiness while still keeping it fresh and elegant.

Family-Centered Ceremony

Family played a significant role in Russ and Erin’s wedding. The couple’s two sons were included in the ceremony, adding a touching and personal element to the proceedings. Russ’s sister officiated the wedding, making the ceremony even more intimate and meaningful. I loved that they involved their family in every part of their day.
