This styled elopement at Concannon Vineyards was a vision brought to life, and I had the absolute honor of planning and executing it alongside some of the wedding industry’s most talented vendors. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to reflect a modern, luxurious aesthetic—set perfectly against the historic backdrop of one of Livermore’s most iconic wineries.

his modern elopement was all about black and white elegance. We envisioned a bold, editorial look that was still romantic and timeless. From the chic couple to the fresh white florals and sleek design elements, everything was chosen to feel stylish yet grounded in the natural beauty of the vineyard.
When working with a strong color story—especially black and white—it’s easy for things to feel either too stark or overly styled. Our goal was to find the perfect balance between the two: clean, high-end, and impactful without being overwhelming.
Concannon Vineyards in Livermore, California, is a gem in the Livermore Valley. With its historic brick buildings, sprawling patios, and surrounding vineyards, it offers countless beautiful corners for photos. And let’s not forget—the sunsets here are some of the best in the valley.
This space offered us the ideal canvas to create something both modern and romantic. We especially loved using the patio space for the tablescape and floral installations, letting the natural light and vineyard views do their thing.
The design concept hinged on balance and texture. We pulled in a variety of black and white tones across the tablescape, avoiding anything too matchy or flat. From black metal and linen chairs to a gray-toned tablecloth and gold-rimmed flatware, each element brought dimension and richness to the look.
The result? A fresh take on black and white that felt organic, not forced. Luxurious, but still inviting.
The florals were a true statement in this design. We kept things sleek with all-white flowers and minimal greenery to stay on theme—but elevated the look by incorporating black-eyed beauties throughout the bouquets and table arrangements.
To draw the eye upward and add a little drama, we installed a hanging floral feature above the tablescape using only white florals. It was the perfect way to create visual impact without pulling away from the overall simplicity and elegance of the design. The installation was hung from the vineyard beams on the venue’s patio, and it brought the entire space to life.
This elopement was such a beautiful celebration to help plan and design. I’m so grateful to work with incredibly creative vendors who are always ready to bring a vision to life. Planning your own wedding or event? Let’s connect and make your dream celebration a reality.
