The Venue: Set against the grand architecture and manicured grounds of Montalvo Arts Center, the venue provided a clean, elegant foundation for an elevated design. Its white architecture, archways, fountains, and estate-style grounds allowed the design to truly shine while maintaining a timeless and refined feel.
The Inspiration: The vision was luxury and opulence from start to finish. A soft pastel palette of greens and pinks was paired with pops of fresh citrus to bring in a light, clean energy. Florals were a central design element, used generously throughout the property to soften the venue’s modern lines and create a cohesive, immersive experience.
Florals and Decor: Florals were everywhere — and intentionally so. Amy Burke Designs created a lush floral story that flowed through the entire property. A stunning ceremony arch overflowing with greenery and pink blooms stood out beautifully against the venue’s crisp architecture. Florals were woven into fountains, layered throughout walkways, and placed strategically across the estate to ensure the design felt cohesive from every angle.
Guest Experience: This wedding was packed with unforgettable experiences. Guests were welcomed with a seating chart featuring tassel name tags, each designed to double as a keepsake. A cigar bar with a live cigar roller allowed guests to enjoy hand-rolled cigars complete with custom bands featuring the couple’s monogram.
A phone booth audio guestbook made a major statement, complete with bold signage and lush florals — both playful and elevated. And yes, even the couple’s Instagram-famous dog made an appearance during the ceremony, delighting guests and adding a personal touch.
Food, Drink, and Dessert: Dinner flowed effortlessly into an evening of celebration, capped off with a crowd-favorite surprise — the iconic Mr. Softee ice cream truck, which rolled in playing its famous tune and serving guests their choice of treats. It was the perfect nostalgic, joyful ending to an already incredible night.
The Ceremony: The ceremony was both elegant and emotional, set beneath a floral arch that framed the couple perfectly. Music by Frozen Fiddler Rose added a dramatic and romantic touch, setting the tone for the celebration to come.
