A Photoshoot with Vo Floral Design

As an Event Planner it is not often that I get to be in front of the camera so when the opportunity arose to participate in this photo-shoot with Trang Vo from Vo Floral Design, I had to take it!
In this industry all vendors have a list of other vendors who they strive to work with and for me, Trang was one of those vendors. Trang is known for her beautiful floral arrangements and her outstanding and incredibly unique floral installments at weddings. Her work is truly one of a kind! Though her work could be labeled ‘over-the-top’ it is in the best way, possible! Her florals take any event to the next level.
Trang’s attention to detail in addition to her unique vision sets her apart from most other floral designers who work at the same caliber she does. Each flower in her arrangements and bouquets is strategically placed to create such a beautiful cohesive look making each inch a masterpiece to be seen. It is evident in her hard work that not only does she truly love what she does, she loves and cares for each stem that she so precisely places.
While her wedding florals are amazing to say the least, she also creates these gorgeous floral headpieces unlike any other. I have worn plenty of flower crowns in my life but the headpieces that she creates are unique, they’re easy to wear, and they are truly a statement piece!
Each of these floral pieces that she created for me to wear was so lovely and made me feel feminine and beautiful. From garden roses to peonies to each delicately placed leaf and fern, no two headpieces were alike. With one headpiece being bright and vibrant and the others being softer and simpler – they each had their uniqueness and beauty to them. The flowers enhanced the outfits that I chose to wear, also! Each pieced laid perfectly as they were placed and didn’t budge the slightest bit as I moved around, posing for the camera.
Posing and Smiling for the camera was easy not only because of the floral headpieces that made me feel like a million bucks or the beautiful hair and makeup by Jennifer Vo but because Trang was the photographer, also! Isn’t that amazing? Though Trang considers herself a hobbyist when it comes to photography, much like her ability to create breath-taking florals, she is a natural! Trang is so calm and easy to be around that it instantly relieves her model of being anxious or nervous. She is so soft-spoken but gives great direction and really shows her vision.
Having the chance to get all dolled up with hair and makeup and pretty dresses so that I could play model for the day was such a fun experience for me! Though I definitely won’t be pursuing this as a career, I did enjoy my time with Trang. My time spent with her made me really appreciate all of the hardwork that she puts into what she does, both creating floral pieces as well as photographing her own work!
I highly encourage every one to check out her pretty portfolio and prepare yourself to be in awe! Trang is such a gem to work with and her floral work is show-stopping to say the least. I personally look forward to the next time that I have the opportunity to work with her.
